Barcelona will feature Coldplay as shirt sponsors for El Clasico as their partnership with Spotify sees Spanish giants celebrate the launch of English rockers’ 10th album Moon Music

Barcelona will wear a special shirt with the Coldplay logo on it for the first El Clasico of the season.

As part of Barcelona’s ongoing partnership with music platform Spotify, players will don the logo jersey to celebrate the release of the band’s tenth album, Moon Music.

It has also been a club-wide bond since the 2008-2009 season, when Barca unofficially adopted the rockers’ anthem Viva La Vida.

This year, Barca’s Spotify shirt logo has been replaced with the artwork of the album itself, and fans can expect to see it when Barca take on Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on October 26.

Barcelona Femeni will also wear the shirt during their Liga F match against Eibar on November 2.
