Barcelona 4-0 Real Betis: Xavi’s side continue march towards LaLiga title with victory at Nou Camp thanks to goals from Andreas Christensen, Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha
- Xavi’s side will soon be confirmed as LaLiga champions over Real Madrid
- They extended their lead over the reigning champions to 11 points at home
- Real Betis offered no fight and it turned out to be an uncomplicated evening
Xavi Hernandez’s side continued their title process with an outright victory over Real Betis at the Nou Camp.
After winning numerous games by just one goal margin this season, including last weekend’s home win over Atletico Madrid, it proved to be a nice change for the Barcelona supporters to see their side three at half time.
Goals from Andreas Christensen, Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha made for a very comfortable evening in Catalonia. A Guido Rodriguez own goal in the 90th minute crowned a strong performance.
With an 11-point lead over Real Madrid with just six games remaining, it is only a question of when, not if, Barcelona will be anointed champions.
