Pedri and Ferran Torres saw Barcelona start their life at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis with a win and their late goals secured a 2-0 win against Cadiz.

Xavi’s side were frustrated with the visitors in their temporary home for much of the game as extensive renovations take place at the Camp Nou this season.

Pedri broke the deadlock in the 82nd minute, when 20-year-old Ilkay grabbed Gundogan’s through ball to slide past Jeremias Ledesma.

Torres ensured the reigning champions would secure a first win of the season, with the striker rushing into a quick strike before firing into the bottom right corner in stoppage time.
