Bankstown Shopping Centre: Man filmed throwing tables and chairs
A man has been arrested after he was filmed vandalizing a shopping center in Sydney’s west.
The 23-year-old was seen throwing tables, chairs and potted plants at the shopping center on Jacobs Street in Bankstown at around 9.30pm on Friday.
At one point you see the man chasing the person who was filming him, with his pants below his waist.
“Hey, come here buddy!” one hears him shouting. ‘Hi! Hi!’
The man continued his tirade, throwing chairs high into the air as a nearby security guard was seen walking calmly in the other direction.
The 23-year-old was seen throwing tables, chairs and potted plants at the shopping center on Jacobs Street in Bankstown at around 9.30pm on Friday.
The 23-year-old threw tables, chairs, potted plants and bins before police arrived and arrested him at 9.30pm on Friday.
“He’s gone crazy,” said one customer. “Call the police.”
A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed to Ny Breaking Australia that they were called to the shopping center following reports that a man had damaged property.
He was taken to Bankstown Police Station before being released for medical treatment.
The man is expected to be prosecuted.
