Jackass star Brandon ‘Bam’ Margera has sensationally turned himself in after a days-long police manhunt.
The artist had been on the run since Sunday after an arrest warrant was issued against him and he fled with his girlfriend and her eight-year-old daughter.
Margera, 43, appeared in Pennsylvania’s Chester County Courthouse Thursday morning and is facing criminal charges after she allegedly assaulted his brother and made terrorist threats to other family members.
He was subsequently released on $50,000 bail, court documents showed, after pleading not guilty. Margera’s lawyer, Michael van der Veen, said after his client’s hearing that “the real facts will emerge.”
The pro skater’s attack began after he fled into the woods near his $1.1 million Pennsylvania mansion after he reportedly got into a fight with his brother Jesse, who has said Bam hit him several times. hit him on the head and threatened to kill him.

After he left the courthouse, Margera posted to Instagram a photo of himself holding court documents as he pleaded his innocence.
“I just got out of the courthouse with my lawyers,” he wrote. “Everything went great and the false allegations of what my brother is saying are not true and he will be sued for defamation and will soon be kicked out of castle bam.
“The reason this happened is because I read on his phone that he wants me back in California and find a way to 302. F*** him.”
Margera’s brother Jess responded on Twitter: “Yeah this meltdown is my fault now I guess. It’s always someone else’s fault.’
After Margera’s hearing on Thursday, Van der Veen said in a statement: “Mr. Margera enjoys all of his constitutional rights, including the presumption of innocence. The wild rumors about his behavior this week are absolutely false. He is in good health and in a good mood.’
Before he decided to turn himself in, a source close to the family said TMZ Margera had been making “intoxicated” phone calls to his family telling them how much he hates them for putting him in a treatment center in Florida last year.
He has also accused them of selling his house and stealing his money, the unnamed source said, noting that Margera doesn’t trust anyone and has threatened to sue his family for the money they say they stole from him.
Authorities said troopers responded to a reported disturbance near Margera’s $1.1 million Pocopson Township castle Sunday morning, where an alleged victim said they got into a physical altercation with the Jackass star and suffered minor injuries as a result.
But when police arrived on the scene, they said, Margera had already fled to a nearby forest area.
A police report filed in the aftermath shows that Margera began banging on his brother Jess’s bedroom door at 8 a.m. that morning, leaving a disturbing note.
It read, “If you even think about calling the police, I’ll officially kick you.”
Jess – best known as the drummer for the rock band CKY – said he found the note and walked downstairs to find Bam urinating in a sink, leading to a fight.
Bam allegedly began punching Jesse and hit him on the head multiple times, with Jess showing multiple visible injuries.
He claims that after the fight, Bam continued his anger, saying, “I’ll kill you.” I’ll put a bullet in your head.’
Bam also allegedly said he would kill everyone in the house, including the Margera brothers’ father, Phil, and two unidentified women before fleeing.

The altercation reportedly came after Margera’s friends urged him to seek help following a botched intervention in San Diego earlier this month., after his recent arrest.
Despite their best efforts, Bam, who has been dealing with substance abuse and violent behavior issues in recent years, reportedly “blew the whole thing up.”
While a source told TMZ that the actor “seemed receptive at first,” things went awry after some logistical issues, including where his current girlfriend would live if he was treated.
The insider noted that the loved ones of one of their father’s father are “concerned about him” and want him to “help him get him back into rehab.”
His estranged wife Nicole Boyd was said to have been involved in the intervention, as she agreed to allow visits with their son Phoenix, five, if he remained sober.
TMZ reported that this “upset” his girlfriend, who then “kicked everyone out.”
The warrant issued for Margera’s arrest in Pennsylvania charged him with four counts of terrorist threat with intent to terrorize another, one charge of simple assault and a final court of harassment while another was subjected to physical contact.
In a series of tweets on Wednesday, his brother said he is addicted to meth and has become “unrecognizable,” pointing out that he doesn’t know what Bam is capable of.
He said he saw Bam scream [at] a person who wasn’t there, hallucinating,” saying “it’s really scary and heartbreaking.”
Jesse went on to say that while he is concerned about his brother, he is more concerned about the child in their care, tweeting, “I can’t even imagine the environment in that car right now.”
But, he says, he “trys to stay positive” because Bam is the “sweetest boy.”

Margera’s most recent legal trouble comes just weeks after he was arrested in California for public intoxication when he got into a shouting match with an unidentified woman at a Thai restaurant in Burbank.
Video of that confrontation, filmed by comedian Evan Breen, showed the former pro skateboarder re-entering and exiting the restaurant after police arrived.
At the request of an officer, Margera sat on the parking lot, and although his conversation with the officer could not be heard, he could be seen waving his arms and gesticulating wildly.
The arrest may have been preceded by some sort of family drama, as Margera’s estranged wife Nikki and their son Phoenix were both at the restaurant, according to a witness at the scene.
However, the police did not clarify whether he had an argument with his ex or whether it was another woman.
The sources added that Margera would be forced to pay $500 to get an early bail unless he chooses to stay behind bars until he is sober again.

In the aftermath, sources told TMZ that Nicole is considering filing legal protection against him to protect herself and their son.
In the aftermath, sources said TMZ that his estranged wife is considering filing for legal protection against him to protect herself and their five-year-old son, Phoenix.
She had told the site that the incident was “scary for me and even scarier for Phoenix,” adding that it was unfortunate because “the visit Bam had with Phoenix in Hollywood the previous day went pretty well.”
Nicole claimed that her famous husband had arrived at the diner drunk and belligerent, explaining, “This is the umpteenth time Bam takes one step forward and ten steps back.”
Her lawyer David Glass told TMZ they had tried to work with Bam to visit their child regularly, but it was contingent on him staying sober and treating her with respect — something they say Margera has refused.
Boyd had filed for divorce from Margera in February this year after claiming he was not sober while visiting his son.
She has filed for legal and physical custody of Phoenix, though she says Margera still needs to get permission to have supervised visits from his son in the Los Angeles area.
