A man who died in a freediving accident is being remembered because he found joy through his street performances dancing in a giant balloon.
Vincent Huang, 43, died on January 7 while diving at Johnson Rock on King Island, in the Bass Strait between Victoria and Tasmania.
Mr Huang visited the popular holiday spot on a diving trip before getting into trouble in the water.
He was pulled from the water by fellow divers who performed CPR, but Mr Huang could not be saved. Nine news reported.

The 43-year-old, known as the Sydney Balloon Man, went viral on social media for dancing through the streets of the city’s CBD in a blue balloon.
Videos made by Mr Huang had been viewed millions of times on TikTok.
During his performances, he danced around while sitting in a giant balloon and bobbed back and forth while music played in the background, often the song “Crazy Frog” by Axel F.

Mr Huang, originally from Taiwan, is said to have performed in Sydney since 2019 and was also an experienced freediver.
His cause of death is not yet known. His ashes were taken to Taiwan after Mr Huang’s relatives traveled to Hobart to collect his remains.
A family friend told the publication that Mr. Huang was known as more than just an entertainer to his loved ones.
“To us, he is an experienced fishing and hunting enthusiast, free diver and ski enthusiast,” the friend said.
‘His cheerfulness and generosity were contagious to many people.’
Tasmania Police said a report would be prepared for the coroner.
