Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard were both among the top 30 players at the Ballon d’Or on Monday evening.
The draw for the 2023 Ballon d’Or is currently underway and will feature some of the biggest names in European football, with Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland both vying for this year’s trophy.
After both enjoyed a brilliant 2022-23 season, the England forward finished 24th in the standings, while Odegaard finished four points behind him in 28th.
The duo finished just behind Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana, 23rd, who despite a turbulent start to his career at Old Trafford, put in an eye-catching performance during his side’s 3-0 defeat to Man City on Sunday.
