In a recent clip on Instagram, Hannah responded to the Times article, admitting that she and her husband — a 35-year-old JetBlue heir — were “shocked” when they read it.

“A few weeks ago a reporter came to our home to learn more about our family and our business,” the beauty pageant contestant began.

She added that she was wrongly portrayed as “oppressed, and that my husband was to blame.”

“This is absolutely not true,” she clarified, noting that she believed the angle of the profile was “predetermined.”

“We built a business together from scratch,” she confirmed. “We brought eight children into the world and put our marriage first the whole way.”
