A balding man has tried to save his thinning hairline by getting bangs tattooed on his forehead.
Gianluca, 26, from Italy, decided to visit his local tattoo parlor to see if they could offer a solution to his thinning hairline.
He eventually managed to convince a tattoo artist to agree to his idea of tattooing fake hair on his head, but when he looked at himself in the mirror, he was speechless.
Italian tattoo artist Maria Gina Altobelli, 30, who owns and owns Gipsy.g Tattoo & Piercing in Fondi, Italy, captured the process of tattooing Gianluca’s head with the fringe design.
She explained that when Gianluca asked for the tattoo, she was shocked and unsure if it was a good idea, but finally decided to get the job done – which she said went really well.

The video, posted on TikTok, has been viewed by 27.8 million people, with many questioning whether the tattoo was a good idea.
The clip shows Maria drawing the design on Gianluca’s forehead, as he cringes when the tattoo needle hits his face.
After wiping his forehead clean, she leads Gianluca to the mirror so he can see what his new ‘pony’ looks like for the first time.
Gianluca seems unimpressed when he turns to see his reflection, and immediately puts his head in his hands and seems to burst into tears at the sight.
Maria said, ‘Of course I was skeptical when he asked me for that tattoo, but in the end I’m very happy with the work.

Despite Gianluca’s reaction, tattoo artist Maria said she was ‘very happy with the work’
“It took us an hour to do it because I’ve been tattooing for six years now, so I’m very fast.
“I didn’t expect all this virality from the video.”
However, those on TikTok were not convinced by Gianluca’s new edge. Some were left hysterical, while others were more sympathetic to the man’s decision.
One said ‘I hope this is a joke’ while another added ‘the instant regret when he looked in the mirror’.
A third quipped, “He’s going home to google laser tattoo removals.”
Others said ‘this can’t be true’ while another commented ‘I don’t think he’s crying because he’s happy’.
