BAFTA’s P&O Cruises TV Memorable Moment Award nominations have been announced.
From the emotional finale of Derry Girls to Nick and Charlie’s kiss in Heartstopper and BBC’s The Real Mo Farah documentary, nothing has been left out.
Also the iconic afternoon tea between Paddington and the late Queen and Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill in Stranger Things.
The last roundtable of the Traitors is also for the gong.

Paddington meets the Queen
Paddington and the late Queen bonded by their love of marmalade sandwiches ahead of the star-studded Platinum Jubilee concert.
The Queen had delighted millions of viewers after appearing in the comedy sketch with the bear that no one could have foreseen to get the party started at The Palace Jubilee Concert on Saturday, June 4, 2022.
With silver spoons on porcelain teacups, the beloved British institutions tapped the rhythm of Queen’s We Will Rock You song together as a unique way to kick off the celebrations.
The skit, which the Queen filmed for half a day, was praised by the British as better than her Olympic opening show with James Bond.
Accident-prone Paddington caused chaos by accidentally depriving the understanding Sovereign of another cup of tea and squirting cream from a chocolate eclair over a Palace Footman.
In an adorable moment, the Queen revealed that she shares Paddington’s love of marmalade sandwiches and keeps an emergency supply in her signature handbag.
Heartstopper – Nick and Charlie’s first kiss
In the LGBTQ+ series based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novels, Joe Locke plays schoolboy Charlie, who falls in love with his classmate Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), forcing them on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance.
With writer Alice also nominated in the Writer: Drama category, Joe and Kit’s first kiss is poised for a memorable moment.
Derry Girls – The Final
The referendum on the Good Friday Agreement was the main topic of conversation in the last episode of the Derry Girls.
Composed of two accords signed in April 1998, it ended most of the bloodshed of The Troubles, a political war in Northern Ireland that began in the late 1960s, and was a major breakthrough in the peace process there.
The sitcom has already been nominated in two categories, written comedy and female performance in a comedy series for Siobhan McSweeney.

Stranger Things – Kate Bush runs up that hill
Kate Bush’s creepy song Running Up That Hill is out, following an iconic scene where Lucas, Dustin and Steve race to save Max from Vecna.
The artist won her top spot in the ranking 40 years after the song’s premiere when a brand new generation heard her music for the first time.
Stranger Things missed out on an international award nomination, pitting Wednesday and Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story against The White Lotus and Pachinko.
The Traitors – Final Roundtable
There are also nominations for the Traitors final, in which Faithfuls Aaron Evans, Meryl Williams and Hannah Byczkowski won the prize money of £101,050 when Wilfred Webster was exposed for his act.
Co-Traitor Kieran Tompsett gave his co-stars a “parting gift” during the final roundtable, which featured severe Shakespearean levels of psychodrama and underhandedness.
Following her win, Meryl revealed that she hopes to follow in host Claudia Winkleman’s footsteps and become a presenter, while both Hannah and Aaron take a new career direction after quitting their jobs.
The real Mo Farah
The latest entry on the list of nominees is Sir Mo’s film The Real Mo Farah, in which he discusses how he was forcibly taken to the UK.
The four-time Olympic gold medalist revealed how he was fooled into believing he was going to live with relatives by being smuggled into the country under the identity of another child.
The 39-year-old athlete, who was given the name Hussein Abdi Kahin, stated: “The truth is that I am not who you think I am.”
Then he continues: When I was four, my father was killed in the Civil War, as a family we were torn apart. I was separated from my mother and illegally brought into the UK under the name of another child named Mohamed Farah.”
Sir Mo’s PE teacher, Alan Watkinson, applied for his British citizenship, which he acquired on 25 July 2000, when he was 17 years old.
He later became the first track and field athlete from the United Kingdom to win four Olympic gold medals.
