Tom Brady is no longer the goat – at least in Bad Bunny’s eyes.
The Puerto Rican artist released his new album on Friday, and in it, he claimed that Lionel Messi has taken over Brady’s mantle.
“Since Messi arrived in the USA, now everyone knows who the goat is. It’s not Tom Brady anymore,” said a line from his song “Vuelve Candy B.”
Of course, seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi has set the US alight after debuting for Inter Miami in July.
He led the club to their first piece of League Cup silverware and has 11 goals in all competitions so far.

However, Bad Bunny didn’t accept Tom Brady – a seven-time Super Bowl winner – in the process
However, a muscle injury forced him to miss four games and ultimately destroyed Miami’s hopes of making the postseason.
Brady, meanwhile, is a seven-time Super Bowl winner, three-time MVP and considered by many to be the greatest NFL quarterback of all time.
More recently, he has been involved in Messi’s sport as co-owner of Championship side Birmingham City.
But Brady and Messi weren’t the only sports icons Bad Bunny mentioned in his song.
The 29-year-old also gave a shout-out to San Antonio Spurs great Tim Duncan, referring to his five championships with the franchise.
“I’ve been on top as Tim Duncan for five years,” Bad Bunny said.
Messi’s Miami will end its MLS season with home and away matches against Charlotte FC.
