Back to the lavish life! Adrian Portelli shows off very flash new $2million sports car and private jet – after downsizing to $40,000 vehicle following backlash over luxury purchases

Block bidder Adrian ‘Mr Lambo’ Portelli recently downsized from an $800,000 sports car to a $40,000 Audi after complaining he was flaunting his lifestyle.

But the 35-year-old real estate investor ignored the critics on Tuesday when he showed off his latest purchase on Instagram.

Adrian, who is known for his multi-million dollar sports car collection, shared a photo of his new Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722S after purchasing the car in London.

Mercedes built just 150 examples of this convertible and a similarly rare supercar that sold for more than A$2 million in 2018. Engine1 reported.

In the photo, Adrian couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he posed next to his new car with his private jet in the background.

‘London touchdown! Finally the deal was closed for an SLR McLaren 722S, ready to take home after the Euro trip,” he wrote.

Adrian’s new purchase comes just days after he revealed he had downsized his car following complaints he was flaunting his lifestyle.

The millionaire real estate investor shared a photo on Instagram on Saturday of himself braving a storm in his more modest new vehicle.

Adrian was all smiles in the photo as he stood next to the sleek four-door, which had a hilarious sticker on the rear window that read: ‘My other car is a Lamborghini’.

He captioned the photo with some telling words: “A few people with a pain in the ass about my recent car purchases.

‘So I decided to take it easy and drive my little Audi A1 for a while.’

However, fans were quick to notice that the vehicle had a unique license plate reading ’20’, with one person claiming that the cost of purchasing that plate would have exceeded the price of the car.

“I think your license plate is worth more than my car,” one follower wrote, and a second person added: “It sold on Tuesday for $2.54 million.”

Adrian has built a reputation for flaunting his lavish wealth and very expensive car collection on social media.

He is a multi-millionaire real estate investor and online promotion guru with an estimated net worth of $1.03 billion.
