Represented by former gangland attorney Zarah Garde-Wilson, the court heard Maguire injured her victim when she gave her a glass.

“The glass isn’t broken,” Mrs. Garde-Wilson assured.

But Magistrate Trumble refused to read aloud a summary of the agreed facts. dismissing Daily Mail Australia’s claims that the summary would help the public better understand the circumstances of the charge Maguire admitted.

In June, the Announce sun reported that the Melbourne influencer threw a drink at a patron while dining at a popular South Yarra bar.

The publication claimed Maguire was with friends in a booth at The Osborne Rooftop and Bar in South Yarra when she reportedly had an altercation with a woman in an adjacent booth.

It is believed Maguire threw her drink at the woman around 10:45 p.m.

Former Love Island Australia winner Anna McEvoy said she saw the aftermath of the alleged attack.

Maguire was reportedly involved in an altercation in March involving a drink being thrown over a customer at The Osborne Rooftop and Bar in Melbourne’s South Yarra.

Anna McEvoy, a former Love Island contestant, said further her podcast Where’s Your Head At? that she witnessed the aftermath of the alleged altercation.

Ms Garde-Wilson said the incident came after a ‘very heated moment’ between her client and the victim.

“She’s very embarrassed to be taken to court and it’s not in her character,” she said.

“It was leading up to an incident that night with a lot of hostile remarks directed at her. She acknowledges that she should have just walked away and she is now in court for that.’

Ms Garde-Wilson pleaded for leniency, telling the court that Maguire had previously worked as a real estate agent but was now working full-time in “online marketing”.

Maguire shot to fame on Richie Strahan’s 2016 season of The Bachelor, before appearing on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and single in paradise.

In 2021, she revealed on an SBS program that Instagram was her only source of income.

Magistrate Trumble agreed to deal with Maguire through the court’s diversion program.

Under Victorian law, diversionary plans are often handed to first-time offenders and are designed so as not to affect anyone’s life in the future.

Under the diversion plan, Maguire was not required to formally plead the charges, but simply admitted to having committed the crime charged.

The court heard Maguire had no criminal record leading up to her appearance on Thursday.

Magistrate Grumble sentenced Maguire to six months’ bail and ordered her to write a letter of apology to her victim.
