Bachelorette star Brooke Blurton reveals shocking new career move and admits her new job was inspired by her disastrous love life
Former Bachelorette star Brooke Blurton has come a long way from her youth worker days.
After appearing on multiple reality shows, launching a podcast and working as a social media influencer, the 28-year-old is now ready to make a drastic career change.
Speak against Stellar magazine, Brooke revealed that she is studying to become a wedding officiant.
“I haven’t managed to fall in love myself, so I’ll just marry people instead… It’s so beautiful to know that you can help couples get married and share their love,” she said.
‘I’m such a sucker for love. When people are in love, it’s not always fun – I get that. But there is such raw happiness in it. Maybe I’m just addicted to that.’

The reality star briefly found love with Darvid Garayeli on The Bachelorette, but the couple broke up shortly after the show’s finale.
She also just broke up with another man after only a month.
Brooke has had quite a successful media career since season six of The Bachelor in 2018.
She appeared on Bachelor In Paradise in 2019 and became Australia’s first ever bisexual Bachelorette in 2021.

The former youth worker joined The Challenge Australia last year, which aired on Channel 10.
She later took a swipe at the series for focusing too much on drama and romance instead of competition.
“I wanted to do The Challenge just to do The Challenge,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle.
“I didn’t go do The Bachelor again or do a Bachelor In Paradise remake, that’s not what I came for,” she continued.

“I had just finished writing my book and I wanted to reclaim who Brooke Blurton was, so I didn’t want to be associated with them.
“I got dragged into it so many times, but I made a conscious effort and a conscious decision that I wanted to take the challenge, just as Brooke Blurton, not Brooke Blurton from The Bachelorette.”
She now hosts a podcast called Not So PG.
