The Bachelor star Kiki Morris has described her devastating struggle to save her rescue kitten’s life.
The reality TV queen, who recently moved to the Spanish island of Ibiza, revealed how the kitten, named Lio, stopped breathing on Tuesday.
Kiki tried compressions on the kitten’s body at 4 a.m. to help her breathe again, but the kitten couldn’t be saved.
“I cried all day, actually sobbed really hard. What an impression your little self has made on me,” Kiki wrote, clearly emotional.
The star explained that she had unsuccessfully tried to keep Lio alive over the course of eight hours.

“For the last eight hours I’ve spent tirelessly trying to keep you alive since rescuing you, I should have pushed the vet, not taken no for an answer,” she wrote.
“I knew the vet was wrong, call it maternal instinct. I begged him to help me, and when he said I’d be fine until morning, I prayed you would be.”
Kiki went on to say that the kitten died in her hands.
“You died in my hands in the early hours and I tried CPR to get you breathing. Not knowing if it would help, but knowing I’ll do whatever it takes to save you.’
“For the past eight hours I have been tirelessly trying to keep you alive since I rescued you, I should have insisted with the vet, not taking no for an answer,” Kiki said in the post
“It wasn’t enough and I’m so sorry little darling,” she finished.
Kiki later shared some heartbreaking photos of the little kitten with the kitten making some adorable noises.
Kiki later showed herself comforting the kitten on a blanket before finally showing a purple blanket covering the kitten’s body with flowers over it.
A number of Kiki’s fans were devastated by her.
“You died in my hands in the early hours and I tried CPR to get you breathing. Not knowing if it would help, but knowing that I will do anything to save you,” Kiki added as she shared this photo
“You have such a beautiful soul. This breaks my heart,” one fan wrote.
“I’m so sorry you had to go through this, people without pets don’t understand how quickly you get attached to them. Sending you so much love,” added another.
“Awww such a sweet and kind soul,” wrote yet another.
Kiki recently wrapped up her life and headed to Madrid last month where she debuted her new boyfriend, Jorge Darek.

She has shared countless snippets from her new life, including her glamorous new apartment in Ibiza.
