Bachelor Separation! DeAnna Pappas, 41, announces the end of an 11-year marriage to Stephen Stagliano, 38, after two children: “The most difficult time of our lives”
Single veteran DeAnna Pappas and her husband of 11 years Stephen Stagliano have announced their separation.
The couple, who married in 2011 and have two children, issued a statement beginning: “It is with immense sadness that Stephen and I have decided to end our relationship as a couple.” We have been working hard for a long time, both as a married couple and individually, and have come to the conclusion to stay apart.
The 41-year-old brunette beauty was on The Bachelor in 2007 and then on The Bachelorette in 2008.

Their children are Addison, eight, and Austin, now six.
The estranged couple added: “We remain loving parents to our beautiful children, Addison and Austin, and will continue to raise them together in love and faith.”
Pappas concluded: ‘We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time as we navigate the new normal. We want to thank our dear friends and family for their endless support and many, many prayers during what has become the most difficult time of our lives.”
He first appeared in the franchise in 2007 when he participated in Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor.

Next Pappas was named in 2008 as The Bachelorette. The show concluded when she got engaged to Jesse Csincsak, but they broke up less than a year later.
She then met Stagliano through her twin brother, Michael Stagliano, who appeared on the fifth season of The Bachelorette, starring Jillian Harris.
In 2018, DeAnna said usweekly: ‘We think you’re crazy if you don’t go to therapy. We are all a product of our environment and how we were raised, and none of us is perfect.’
During the same interview, Pappas quipped, “I’m sure Stephen would like us to have regular sex.” … But we tried.
