Bachelor runner-up Brooke Cleal reveals she’s in a same-sex relationship…just weeks after winner Holly Kingston married Jimmy Nicholson
The Bachelor star Brooke Cleal has revealed she’s in a same-sex relationship.
The runner-up on Jimmy Nicholson’s season of the reality TV hit took to Instagram on Sunday to debut her relationship with Alyssa Viktoria.
The reality TV star, 29, shared several photos of the couple in love, including how they held hands in London and shared a kiss.
In a caption, Brooke acknowledged “the struggles I’ve experienced behind the scenes and the progress I’ve made in myself and my sexuality over the past two years.”
She added, “I’ve been so torn between excitement and fear for months, especially afraid of rejection and criticism for the second time in my life. Suppressing my feelings led to sleepless nights and a lot of frustration and questions.’

Cleal also addressed questions she’d been asked about whether she’d questioned her sexuality while competing for Nicholson’s heart on The Bachelor.
“People have asked me if I knew about this before the show – the truth is it may have been there all along, without acknowledgment, understanding or investigation,” she wrote.
Reflecting on her new romance, Brooke wrote, “As soon as I met (Alyssa), she had an energy so individualistic that I was just magnetized by it.”

The big reveal comes just weeks after Jimmy Nicholson married Brooke’s Bachelor rival Holly Kingston.
The couple, who met on season nine of the 2021 Channel 10 series, married in the first week of August at Jimmy’s parents’ house in Sydney’s Palm Beach.
Jimmy famously broke Brooke’s heart on the show’s 2021 finale, telling her, “There were just too many unknowns for us,” before sending her home in tears.

“That was hard to watch. Brooke is a great girl,” the pilot later told The Project, adding that he and winner Holly planned to call her.
“It was pretty heartbreaking at the time. It was hard to watch it last night. I wanted to reach Brooke; we have both.’
Jimmy continued, “We need to give her space and I think I’d like to message her in the future to make sure she’s okay.”
