Genevieve Parisi packed her bags and was about to leave angrily before Aaron Clancy stopped her on Tuesday’s episode of Bachelor In Paradise on ABC.
The 27-year-old Los Angeles bartender became frustrated with Aaron, 27, a San Diego insurance agent, after her attempt to tell her she was falling in love with him instead sparked an explosive argument.
“I just feel like I’ve been trying to spend time with you,” Genevieve told Aaron as a large group reclined on a daybed together.

“Are you really doing this?” Aaron asked her.
“So I can’t feel… I can’t feel the way I feel?” Genevieve asked.
“You make me feel like I’m neglecting you,” said Aaron, who had just asked Johnny DePhillipo, 25, from Florida to hang out in the pool and have a beer with him.
They kept arguing and the other couples ran off to let them talk it out.

“Aaron and Genevieve are fighting. Their relationship is so hot and cold. I don’t know what’s going to happen. At any moment, a ticking time bomb could just go off,” Michael Allio, 38, of Akron, Ohio, said in a confessional.
Genevieve said she tried to explain her feelings and Aaron said their conversation “went in circles.”
Aaron then accused Genevieve of gaslighting him, which infuriated her even more.

“Yesterday I realized I was falling in love with you and that’s why I wanted to have a conversation,” Genevieve told him.
“That’s something big and scary. There are a lot of really deep feelings that I have that are hard to express and you have become so close to me. And the things you like can hurt me deeply because of how much you mean to me. And I’m falling in love with you too,” Aaron said emotionally.
