The Bachelor’s Keira Maguire details all the cosmetic procedures she’s undergone to make her look so youthful at 38 – and how she responds to vile trolls who attack her changed appearance
Bachelor star Keira Maguire has detailed the wild procedures she’s undergone to keep her skin looking flawless.
The reality star and influencer looks more than a decade younger than her 38 years and appears to have aged a lot since her first foray into reality TV in 2016.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday at a brunch celebrating the launch of Naked Sundays new BeautyScreen Peptide Foundation Tint, Keira described in detail the many cosmetic procedures that involved shaving her face over the years.
From fractional lasers and Botox to small filler treatments and salmon sperm injections, Keira has been dabbling with lasers and injectables since she was in her twenties.
“I had really bad acne scarring from a young age, so I got a lot of fractional lasers. I unintentionally fell into the trap of going to the clinic and getting a lot of facials,” she said.
‘Some of them actually took away the natural collagen. So then I would go back and try other facials to try to fix the other treatments that I had.
“I’ve had a lot of different hardcore lasers, like resurfacing lasers.”
Fractional laser treatments use a device with a laser beam, divided into thousands of microscopic treatment zones, on the face to combat sun damage and skin aging.

However, Keira says these treatments were just the beginning. She had her first filler treatment at 25 and later, at 30, Botox.
“I got lip fillers when I was quite young because one of my ex-boyfriends’ mothers got them done for my birthday. She was like, ‘Let’s get lip fillers for my 25th birthday,'” she said, laughing.
‘But I didn’t get Botox until I was 30. The first time I got Botox was right before I went to Bachelor’s. [in 2016] and they did my jaw.
‘So I do look a little different, but that’s because it makes your face slimmer. A lot of people say, “She’s done so much.” But I think, no, it’s just lasers and Botox.’
Keira has also had Profhilo, a ‘bio-remodelling’ injectable treatment, and Rejuran, a salmon sperm facial, which is also an injectable treatment.
Keira also said that she doesn’t use as many fillers as her followers think, having only had the injections done once in her lips and lower cheeks.
She explained that earlier this year she had RF fractional laser treatment three times within a 12-week period and that it “melted the collagen” in her cheeks.
‘If you over-laser someone, you can melt the fat in their face and the collagen… I had to get fillers in the bottom of my cheeks [to fix it],’ she explained.
Keira has also had Profhilo, a ‘bio-remodelling’ injection, and Rejuran, a salmon sperm facial, which is also an injection.
‘I had [the Rejuran] “I did it three weeks ago. We did it under the eyes. I definitely think the salmon sperm facial is the best thing I’ve ever had,” she said.
‘I had Profhilo. I don’t like it. Rejuran is 100% the best on the market… I think it will replace filler.’
Keira is very open about the treatments she undergoes, often posting about them on her Instagram page, but she often receives criticism about her appearance.
She said most critics complain that she has “too much filler” in her cheeks, despite her insisting that her full features are natural.

“I try not to get fillers in my face. I just don’t think you can reverse it. … I don’t believe in getting it. I’ve just never needed it,” she said.
I’m just saying [to critics]… I don’t have filler in my face and if I did I would tell you. You can tell if someone has filler in their face. You can feel it.’
Keira rose to fame on Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor in 2016, before appearing on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Bachelor in Paradise in 2017, where she met Jarrod Woodgate.
Love Island’s Cassidy McGill and fellow Bachelor star Bella Varelis were also in attendance
The couple had an on-again, off-again relationship for about two years until they finally split in late 2019.
Keira told Daily Mail Australia that the couple had stopped speaking and that Woodgate had blocked her on Instagram.
