Bachelor In Paradise stars Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon welcome 2nd child – and reveal Star Wars-inspired 1st name as well as nod to Tom Cruise

Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon welcomed their second child, a son named Hayden Cruise Haibon.

The Bachelor In Paradise veterans shared the exciting news with People on Tuesday.

“Say hello to Hayden Cruise Haibon,” the stars told the site.

The first name comes from Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen. The second name is a nod to Tom Cruise, as both parents are fans.

“He was born at 2:29 p.m. on July 22, 2024 weighing 8 pounds and 7 ounces at INOVA Fairfax Hospital,” the couple added to the site.

“Baby is healthy and so is Mama! Seeing Dawson meet his little brother for the first time was every bit as precious as we always imagined. Dawson is full of love and couldn’t stop petting Hayden,” one also shared.

Ashley and her husband married in 2019 and had their first child, son Dawson, in January 2022.

Dawson is named after Leonardo DiCaprio’s character Jack Dawson in Titanic.

“We joked about the name Anakin because I’m a huge Star Wars fan and Ashley was crazy about Hayden Christensen as a teenager,” he said.

“That sparked the idea for the name Hayden,” it added. Hayden played Anakin in the prequels.

“We are so lucky to have Hayden and Dawson in our lives. They have both brought so much more love into our hearts and as parents we are so grateful that they are both happy and healthy!” they also said.

The couple announced that Ashley was pregnant with their second child during an Amazon Live session last January.

Their son Dawson wore an adorable ‘Big Brother’ T-shirt as his parents shared the happy news.

Ashley also revealed that she had a chemical pregnancy in the fall, before falling pregnant again with their upcoming baby.

“It’s a week five miscarriage, where on the day you think you’re going to get your period, you’re actually bleeding. But I had already had a positive pregnancy test. So I thought I was pregnant for three days,” she explained to We do it weekly.
