A bachelor couple reveals their wedding guests thought they were going to an engagement party, as they open up about their surprise nuptials
They finally tied the knot last week after meeting on The Bachelor three years ago.
And reality TV lovebirds Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska have now revealed that their wedding, which took place in South Melbourne on Friday, was actually a surprise to most of their guests.
The Perth couple, both 33, invited nearly 200 of their friends and family to the Luminare venue under the guise it was an engagement party.
irena told him who magazine it was an incredible moment when the guests realized that they were actually going to see the couple exchange vows.
They also revealed that they have “big shoes to fill” as Irena’s immigrant parents have been happily married for 37 years.

“However, I am confident that with this woman by my side, we will be able to match that incredible effort,” Locky said.
Irena walked down the aisle to a cover of Taylor Swift’s Wildest Dreams before the newlyweds shared their first dance to Conor Maynard’s Crowded Room.
They have planned a romantic honeymoon at the Tokoriki Island Resort in Fiji.

“I plan to bring you cocktails and just adore my new wife while we’re there,” Locky said.
The couple plans to finish renovating their home and then start a family once they return from their tropical getaway.
“I always knew that one day Irena would be my wife and now I am pinching myself because it really happened. I’m a very lucky guy,” Locky added.
