A baby has been taken to hospital after falling from a balcony in Sydney’s far west.
Emergency services were contacted about 4pm on Friday after reports the child had been injured in a fall from a balcony at an address in Glenmore Park, about 54km west of Sydney’s CBD.
It is unclear at this time whether the child was injured at home or elsewhere and how far he fell.
The Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was called in to transport a specialist doctor to the scene, who, along with paramedics, treated the boy as they traveled by ambulance to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
It is understood that the boy suffered head injuries in the fall and is in a stable condition in hospital.
