Touching moment worker is re-united with the baby she helped deliver at a 7-Eleven servo
A worker who helped deliver a baby in a 7-Eleven gas station parking lot has been reunited with the boy and his family.
Sharyn Daley was working at discount store Cheap as Chips in Logan, Brisbane, on Friday when a man burst in and shouted “that a lady is about to have a baby”.
The assistant store manager grabbed a towel from a shelf and ran outside to help the woman who was parked in her car in the neighboring 7-Eleven servo.
The baby’s head was already crowning and the birth was over within seconds of the quick-thinking Mrs Daley arriving on the scene.
Fortunately, the baby, named Winston, is now healthy and doing well after arriving 11 days early.
On Tuesday, Mrs Daley met with mother Sonia and the rest of the family.
