Baby Reindeer has been dethroned and is number one on the list of most watched Netflix films.
The miniseries, which became available to stream on April 11, became the second most-watched television show after the release of A Man in Full on May 2.
Jeff Daniels stars in the all-new miniseries about a real estate mogul on the brink of bankruptcy.
A Man in Full also stars Diane Lane, Tom Pelphrey, William Jackson Harper and Lucy Liu.
Daniels’ new drama was enough to beat out Baby Reindeer, but the two miniseries have since been knocked down to numbers three and four on Netflix’s most-watched list.
The show is about a man named Charlie Croker (Daniels) who does everything he can to prevent his real estate empire from crumbling after he goes bankrupt.
Daniels plays Charlie Croker, a former college athlete known as “the biggest real estate hero in Atlanta” despite owing more than $1 billion in unpaid bank loans.
Charlie must do everything he can to prevent his real estate empire from falling apart for good.
Some of the individuals who try to profit from Charlie’s poor decisions include his ex-wife Martha Crocker (Lane) and a banker named Raymond Peepgrass (Pelphrey).
A Man in Full featured multiple plot twists, and it even featured a special appearance by Shania Twain for Charlie’s 60th birthday in the miniseries’ opener.
The show emphasized the greed in many of its characters, and its ending is almost too shocking to believe.
Baby Reindeer also provided several twists on both the main character and antagonist of the critically acclaimed miniseries.
Centered on struggling comedian and bartender Donny Dunn (Richard Gadd), his life is turned upside down after a woman named Martha Scott (Jessica Gunning) begins stalking him.
Some Donny apparently enjoyed the attention, but Martha’s obsession begins to damage him emotionally even after she’s gone for good.
Both miniseries were enough to reach the number one spot, but one show was more loved by critics than the other.
Jeff Daniels’ new miniseries A Man in Full took over the number one spot for Netflix’s most-watched television shows from Baby Reindeer upon its May 2 release
Diane Lane, who plays Martha Croker, was a pivotal character throughout the show. One of her last scenes was where she was intimate with banker Raymond Peepgrass (Tom Pelphrey)
Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning play Donny Dunn and Martha Scott. The show has been receiving rave reviews from critics and audiences since its release on Netflix on April 11
A Man in Full may have taken over the number one spot, but Baby Reindeer destroyed Daniels’ new drama on Rotten Tomatoes.
Based on nearly 50 critic reviews, Baby Reindeer received a 98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and achieved an audience score of 83 percent.
A Man in Full only has a 43 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an audience score of 59 percent.
“There are hints of succession – family problems, talk of money, Croker shouting about ‘the Boeing’ – but the series is nowhere near the same level,” Anita Singh wrote for the Daily telegram.
“You wait for the drama to develop, but it never quite does.”
A critic of the Chicago Sun Times gave a more positive review of the show, calling the show “a lot of fun to watch.”
“It’s a snappy, concise limited series – I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciated episodes that were just 45 minutes long,” wrote a reviewer for The Age.
“At the sharp intersection of urban politics, commerce, race, demography and rivalry, the miniseries A Man in Full has many options to offer with superlative appeal, including a literal show that stops Lucy Liu,” wrote Dominic Patten for Deadline.
X users (formerly Twitter) are divided on what to think of this show and one person tweeted that Twain’s performance was the best thing about the show.
Twain even wrote a positive comment about the show, claiming that she was watching the show “in between rehearsals” before her show in Las Vegas.

Others have brought up the show’s shocking ending, which ends with one person in a body bag and another dead on the bedroom floor.
‘The ending of ‘A Man in Full’ is insane. To be honest this is the only way it could have ended,” one person tweeted.
Others have dismissed the show, and one person even wrote a mild insult toward Regina King, who served as director and executive producer.
“Everything about @Netflix A Man in Full is stupid! Of the three storylines (no attempt to connect them in a meaningful way, all three are misplaced absurd characters that no one can relate to’ wrote the tweeter.
‘David E. Kelly just emailed a script, too busy? Director Regina King – I prefer not to comment.’
