A little girl has been nicknamed ‘Mowgli’ by her mother after she learned to walk on all fours like the Jungle Book character.

Raised with her mother’s six German Shepherds, River Shell has not only learned to walk on all fours, but also eats dog food whenever she gets the chance.

When the baby was born, his mother, Ashley Shell, 31, said she was nervous about how the pack of big dogs would take the little baby away.

The 31-year-old, from Tulsa, needn’t have worried though, as the dogs instantly became best friends and accepted River as one of their own.

Now, the curious River enjoys playing with dogs, Meeka, Kai, Ryker, Koba, Brenna and Roma, so much every day that she has started acting like a lovable dog.

Not only did the little girl start walking on all fours like her furry friends, but influencer Ashley claims she started climbing up the dog hatch.

In a clip shared by Ashley, River is first seen as a helpless newborn with the animals curiously surrounding her, before she is more recently filmed playing with her water bowl.

The cute little girl likes to sit in her cage and play with her toys and even tries to sneak eat her food “any chance she gets”, with footage capturing Ashley appearing to have to reach into her mouth to retrieve some kibble. .

When River was around eight months old, she started watching the dogs and trying to copy them.

After sharing the video on TikTok, Ashley’s video attracted more than 9.1 million views and more than 2 million likes and comments.

Ashley explained: “When she was around eight months old, she started watching them and tried to copy what they were doing.
