Baby joy! Voice of Big Brother Australia becomes a first time father at 51 – and shares his rock and roll inspired name

The former Big Brother Australia voice has become a father for the first time at the age of 51.

Mike Goldman, who narrated the reality series from 2001 to 2014, and his wife Bianca Zouppas welcomed a baby boy named Jagger in May.

The couple’s son was born on May 29, after Bianca underwent IVF treatment to conceive.

“It’s 100 percent a miracle. There’s still a part of me that can’t believe it happened,” he told New idea magazine.

Mike and Bianca, 31, met in 2016 and tied the knot in 2019 after three years of dating.

Due to medical problems they were unable to conceive naturally, but thanks to IVF Bianca became pregnant last year.

“In October 2023 we performed the third and final embryo transfer and thankfully Jagger survived,” said Bianca.

‘We both had tears in our eyes because we couldn’t believe that after everything we had been through, we finally had such a beautiful little boy.’

The couple beamed in a photo they posted to Instagram shortly after Jagger’s birth, with Bianca holding the newborn tenderly and Mike strumming a guitar.

Mike filmed his final season of the now-defunct reality show in 2014, and Ny Breaking Australia previously revealed that he has continued to work in the entertainment industry and now works as an actor.

Since pulling the plug on Big Brother, he has appeared in the Tiger King-inspired Stan Original series Joe vs Carole and NBC Universal’s Young Rock.

Mike was an integral part of Big Brother, narrating the show, presenting his own spin-off series Up Late and helping with live evictions.

Although he has not reprised his role as a voice actor on Big Brother since the show moved to Channel Seven, he has been offered a lot of voice work since 2014.

He has done work for documentaries for Discovery and National Geographic and has also appeared in advertisements for Rebel, Telstra and Coles.

Mike is the son of the late television and radio personality Grant Goldman and former Channel Seven weather presenter Erica Hammond.

“It’s 100 percent a miracle. There’s still a part of me that can’t believe it happened,” he told New Idea magazine this week
