- Nick Kyrgios has received wonderful family news
- His brother, Christos, has become a father again
- Christos and Alicia welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday
Nick Kyrgios will likely be on uncle duty as he watches the Australian Open from afar, while his brother Christos welcomes his second child.
Nick, 28, announced last month that he will not compete in Melbourne this year after a torrid 2023, with knee and wrist injuries keeping the fiery Australian on the sidelines.
Australian Open bosses expect him to feature at Melbourne Park 'in some form' but he may have to juggle his expected punditry gig with family time after Christos and wife Alicia welcomed a baby girl .
Nick's beaming brother proudly posed with his second child in a photo uploaded to Instagram, before sharing a photo of his healthy partner enjoying a protein shake with their son George, who was born in July 2022.
Christos is a sports coach and part-time CEO of Nick's NK Foundation, which aims to provide sports opportunities to underprivileged young people.

He has been open about his ambitions to become a father at Costeen Hatzi
Alicia is a sports nutritionist and three-time world champion fitness model.
The couple watched Nick's infamous Wimbledon match against Stefanos Tsitsipas from hospital after George's birth.
Nick is now in a long-term relationship with girlfriend Costeen Hatzi. The couple has been dating since December 2021 and he opened up when asked about his ambitions to become a father.
'I want them as soon as possible. But Coz (Costeen Hatzi) would like to wait a year and a half,” Nick Kyrgios said on his Instagram story in November 2022.
Reflecting on his relationship with Hatzi, Kyrgios said: “Honestly, I am so lucky. She has managed to navigate through a lot of BS and continues to love me.
“But I have her back and I just want to share the time I still spend with her.”
