Baby dies after being found unconscious in a car in 33C Outback town of Fitzroy Crossing

In remote Western Australia, a baby has died after being found unconscious in a car.

The child was found at 3pm Tuesday in the car parked at the corner of Fallon Road and Flynn Drive in Fitzroy Crossing, about 250 miles east of Broome.

The temperature was then around 33 degrees.

The baby was taken to Fitzroy Crossing Hospital but could not be saved.

Police are investigating and officers are flying from Perth on Wednesday morning.

No arrests have been made.
