A baby has become a multi-millionaire property owner at just two days old after her wealthy grandfathers gifted her with a £1 million house and a £5 million trust fund.
Barrie Drewitt-Barlow made history with his ex-husband Tony Drewitt-Barlow in 1999 when they became the first gay couple to be registered as parents after welcoming twins Saffron and Aspen via surrogacy, followed by a son, Orlando.
Barrie divorced Tony in 2019 and got together with his new partner Scott Hutchinson, who used to date his daughter, and the couple welcomed a daughter Valentina in October 2020 and son Romeo in 2022.
The businessman, 51, reportedly worth £200 million, has now congratulated his daughter Saffron on her baby girl, saying he ‘can’t wait to spoil her’.
“I just bought her a £1 million new house this weekend and I commissioned a team of interior designers to go in and completely renovate it for her,” he said. The sun.
“Aspen just bought them a £5,000 Dior pram and pram.”
He added: ‘And as this is Tony’s first grandchild, he’s set up a £5 million trust fund for her, so she’s already a multimillionaire.’

Barrie, who also has another son named Collin from a heterosexual relationship he had when he was younger, reportedly bought his son Romeo a £250,000 yacht when he was born.
Romeo’s first outfit was also a Gucci newborn outfit that Scott bought.
Barrie and Tony made history in 1999 after becoming Europe’s first same-sex couple to use a surrogate.
After a lawsuit, they were listed as “parent one” and “parent two” instead of mother and father on the birth certificate.
Barrie and Tony split in 2019 and Barrie started dating Scott shortly after.
