Azealia stars on the cover of Dazed Spring 2023 and reveals how her controversy impacted her career, leaving her at one point with almost nothing to live off of.
“There was a time when people didn’t want to hire me,” he says.

Speaking of her notorious reputation for bickering and backlash, most recently calling Australia “racist” in December, Azealia admits she can be “a bit messy.”
She says: ‘Everyone makes a bad joke sometimes. Like, who cares? Quentin Tarantino gets paid $500 million to make really bad jokes all the time, you know?
‘Come on. Let me vent.’
Azealia says that sometimes her controversial comments stem from being told she was a “bad person” and “lashing out” “because “that’s what they told me I was.”
Banks famously went on a foul-mouthed rant at a flight attendant calling him a “f***f****t” when he couldn’t get off a Delta plane in 2005.
On social media, she said a flight attendant had accused her of threatening to ‘fix you’.
The musician denied using those words at the time, saying he was from New York and would not have used that phrase.
Meanwhile, in 2016, the rapper was removed from a UK music festival after its shocking homophobic, racist and xenophobic Ranting on Twitter against Zayn Malik, with his Twitter account suspended.
