Azealia Banks Endorses Ron DeSantis: Says She Feels ‘Much Safer’ In Miami Than Los Angeles

>

Rapper Azealia Banks is singing the praises of Ron DeSantis, saying Florida’s Republican governor encouraged her to trade Los Angeles for Miami and describing the potential presidential candidate as “practical” and someone who is “focused on the basics.”

Banks, 31, said The Guardian that she was disappointed by the sign of virtue she found rampant in Democratic-controlled California.

‘In every way I turn [in LA] there is a Black Lives Matter sign, and then we see many Latinos dying every day because they are considered essential workers,” he said.

‘No Latino Lives Matter signs.

“That’s not to deny any of the very real issues facing Black people in America, but in a wealthy state like California, in a neighborhood like Silver Lake, here’s Jenny with her fucking biodynamic wine bar and vegan coffee. .

‘She has a Black Lives Matter sign in the window, but sis, did you listen to daddy who delivered the milk? Did she get a free cup of coffee?

The New York City-born rapper, famous for her tempestuous relationships with managers, collaborators and record labels, said the pandemic made her reassess her priorities.

Banks sold his Woodland Hills home in November 2020 in a non-judicial foreclosure for $845,000.

He bought the property in March 2016 for $850,000, but listed it for sale a month later and reported repeated clashes with neighbors.

Banks dug up the body of his cat Lucifer, which he had buried three months earlier in the garden, and in an Instagram video, now deleted, like all his social networks, he said that he would take the cat to Florida.

‘The cat came out with an explosion of shit. Taking my bitch to Miami,” she said, showing off her unearthed cat skull, peacock feathers, a bottle of champagne, a $100 bill and a nearly empty bottle of Chanel No. 5.

Banks said in his video post: ‘We got our ticket from…California. Through all the…tears and suffering and…wildfires and…gender identity crisis…girls are pulling through.

‘I HAVE BROUGHT HIM OUT OF HELL.

‘MIAMI, United States. LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOO’

Banks told The Guardian, in an interview published last week: “I had to leave because I can’t do this, either COVID was going to kill me or depression was going to kill me.” I’m going to fuck Miami’.

Banks said Miami appealed because people “mind their shitty business.”

She said she feels “much safer” in Miami than in Los Angeles, where she said she needed a gun.

The notoriously outspoken rapper said Florida’s success was due to its governor.

‘There are elderly people in our country without walkers, who do not have money to remove a septic tooth. If we’re talking about dividing healthcare funds, those situations should take precedence over facial feminization surgeries and the like.

I mean, I get it, but that’s cosmetic surgery. Like, does your penis work? Can you pee? She doesn’t have as many problems as the older woman who can’t afford her dialysis. I think DeSantis is practical in a lot of things.’

Praising DeSantis led her to launch an attack on Kanye West, with whom she collaborated in 2012 on some previously unreleased songs.

Banks, who said he came from an abusive home, condemned West for saying he and Kim Kardashian considered aborting their eldest child and called him misogynistic.

“Kanye, you’re an abusive jerk and you’re f***ing for messing with that little girl,” he said.

“You are the last person we need to know about black parenting and the black family unit.”
