Ayda Field insists herself and husband Robbie Williams are ‘incredibly intimate’ as she reveals jealousy after seeing him with other women in Netflix documentary

Ayda Field has insisted she is ‘incredibly intimate’ with her husband Robbie Williams and revealed she became jealous when she saw him with other women on his new show.

The 44-year-old actress discussed the singer’s highly anticipated Netflix documentary, admitting it was a “rollercoaster of emotions” after its release.

Robbie’s self-titled four-part series tells the story of his 25-year career in showbusiness, from leaving Take That in 1995 to his struggles with addiction and mental health.

In the show, the 49-year-old star talks about his ‘magical’ Noughties romance with Geri Horner Halliwell and his marriage proposal to Nicole Appleton in 1998.

Ayda – who has children Teddy, 11, Charlie, nine, Coco, five, and Beau, three, with her husband – spoke about their bedroom antics after Robbie made headlines earlier this year when he declared there was ‘no sex after the marriage’. ‘

She told me Sunday Times Style magazine about how he joked, “When you have four young children, intimacy evolves into something else.

‘That doesn’t mean we don’t have sex or aren’t intimate. We have sex and we are incredibly intimate.’

About seeing his past relationships on screen, Ayda said: “I was surprised at how uncomfortable it made me to see him with other women. As a story I don’t mind it, but watching it in real-time footage I would normally pass that up.’

Robbie and Geri, 51, enjoyed a romance together in the early 1990s, spending an extended holiday in the south of France with Robbie’s songwriting partner, Guy Chambers and his wife Emma.

The images show them cuddling and having fun, playing and singing with each other on a boat during one of their many world trips.

Ayda’s comments come after the couple previously admitted that they almost never have sex.

In a joint interview, the two emphasized that they are “on the same page” when it comes to intimacy and that they are content with their lack of bedroom activity.

Robbie said The sun: ‘Everyone knows there is no sex after marriage. That’s just the way it is. I used testosterone for a while, but because I am addicted it had to stop. I grew huge square shoulders and started to look like a doorman. It didn’t look good.’

‘But the sex we had while I was on testosterone was incredible; it was all the time. We were insatiable. It shows how much we really care about each other, because when I was doing it, we couldn’t keep our hands off each other.

‘I miss that. That was a nice period. But now sometimes Ayda turns to me on the couch and says, “We need to have sex,” and I sit there eating a tangerine and shrug my shoulders. So you know, sometimes we try.”

The actress, who married her pop star partner in 2010, concluded: ‘Intimacy is the important, meaningful side of love. Were happy.’
