Awkward moment Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to hesitate as they’re shown to their seats several rows back at glitzy One Love: Bob Marley screening in Jamaica
A clip has emerged showing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex taking their seats at the premiere of biopic Bob Marley: One Love.
The couple attended the glitzy event at the Carib Theater earlier this week, where they spoke with anti-monarchist Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
This short video that has emerged shows the former senior royals being led to their seats several rows away.
The clip appears to show 39-year-old Harry looking somewhat dejected as he walks to his seat and follows his wife.
Meanwhile, Meghan, 42, is seen smiling as she holds up her big dress and walks down the aisles of the cinema.

The Duchess wore a black dress for the event, with a black strappy top that showed off her arms and shoulders, paired with a taffeta Carolina Herrera maxi skirt.
She completed the look with her classic ‘J Box clutch’ from Jimmy Choo (valued at £750, or approximately $952.75) – one of her staples, which she has worn several times over the years.
This is thought by, among others, royal guards Royal Fashion Police on Instagram, to have worn 18K gold earrings from Jennifer Meyer Jewelery, which cost $3,250 (approximately £2,558.37).
She wore what appeared to be an understated makeup look, with her hair in a simple bun.
Meanwhile, Harry wore a two-piece navy blue suit, with a white suit and no tie, for a more casual look.
The couple’s appearance in the biopic has caused some controversy, with Meghan and Harry – who stepped down from royal duties four years ago – posing with Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his wife Juliet at the premiere.
Andrew has said his country is ‘moving away’ from the British monarchy. Harry’s father, King Charles, is currently head of state of Jamaica.
The process of severing ties with the British monarchy is underway, following in the footsteps of another former Caribbean possession, Barbados.

Similar to the island province’s split from the monarchy, Prince Harry also revoked his HRH titles and sensationally moved from a working royal position in early 2020.
He moved to North America with his wife Meghan, whom he married in 2018.
Meghan and Harry now live in Montecito, California, with their two children, Archie and Lilibet. The Sussexes have made very few public and personal trips to Britain since leaving office.
The couple has had many ventures in the entertainment industry since their royal departure. They signed multimillion-dollar contracts with Netflix and Spotify to produce podcasts and docuseries in which they discussed their lives within the royal family.
Six months ago, they parted ways with their $20 million Spotify deal after producing Meghan’s podcast series “Archetypes.”

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman spoke to FEMAIL about what the former senior royals had said to the Prime Minister about the film.
He said the Duchess described the film as ‘perfect’.
“It’s amazing,” she said in a short clip from the event, shared on the politician’s Instagram Story.
And Jeremy added that Duke of Sussex seemed to compliment the “good work” done on the film.
“Nice to… glad to meet you,” he added.
Elsewhere, the lip reader said Andrew asked Meghan ‘what she thought’ – most likely referring to the biopic.
“Yes, it was perfect,” she said. The Duchess then pointed to her husband and added: ‘Yes, I’m sure he’ll tell you. It’s perfect.’
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also turned heads as they posed for photos and shook hands with actors at the event
The couple posed with Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon president and CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy James.
The Sussexes’ outing comes at a difficult time for the royal family, with the Princess of Wales recovering in hospital from a planned abdominal operation and the Duchess of York revealing she has skin cancer this weekend.

The Princess of Wales is reportedly doing well after going under the knife for abdominal surgery at the London Clinic near Regent’s Park last week.
She will remain in the exclusive clinic for a maximum of fourteen days and is not expected to return to her official duties until after Easter.
Meanwhile, Sarah, 64, was diagnosed with malignant melanoma – an aggressive form of skin cancer – after several moles were removed during reconstructive surgery following her mastectomy in June.
One of them was diagnosed with cancer and is now undergoing further medical checks to ensure the cancer is detected at an early stage.
In addition, King Charles has revealed that he will go under the knife and undergo surgery for an enlarged prostate.
