A classic mullet is a type of haircut characterized by shorter hair on the top and sides, while leaving the hair significantly longer in the back.
“The current trend seems a bit more “elegant”, it has a rounder, more oval shape around the face, which naturally ends longer in the neck, says the stylist who has Isabelle Huppert as a client, among others. Among others, Laëtitia Casta, Juliette Binoche and Emmanuelle Seignier.

“Like it or not, the mullet is making a real comeback because it can distinguish people who were very ordinary with their usual hairstyle,” says Christophe-Nicolas, the vegetable coloring innovator.
“It certainly works on all face shapes, but as with all hairstyles, some are more suitable than others.”
The expert does not recommend it to women or men with very round faces, and urges customers to be prepared.
‘You have to be very sure of your choice before you get into the hairdresser’s chair, because a mullet needs time to grow back.’
