Newly single Avril Lavigne stepped out in thigh-high boots at the Courrèges show during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday, following her shock split from fiancé Mod Sun.
Kylie Jenner’s ex Tyga joined the singer, 38, at the event after they had a “cozy night” together last Tuesday.
The departure comes after musician Mod Sun said he was ‘shocked’ when the singer quit.
The couple split last week after a two-year affair, with their rep reporting page six both he and Avril “were together and engaged for three days when he went on tour.”
Avril was later seen having dinner with Tyga, 33, and friends, where she shared a hug with the rapper before leaving in the same car. TMZ reports.
Stepping out in the French capital, the hitmaker looked stylish in a long black coat and plus-size T-shirt dress, with Tyga arriving shortly after.

She completed her look with a plain black T-shirt and a pair of chunky boots, shielding her eyes with sunglasses.
Avril’s outing comes after Mod Sun broke his silence on his split from his fiancée and revealed his heartbreak on Tuesday.
The musician, whose real name is Derek Ryan Smith, took to Instagram with an emotional post, writing: “Within 1 week my life has completely changed…
I only know that there is a plan for everything. I will hold my head high + I will always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken.

TMZ reported that Avril had called off their engagement after the couple had been “on and off” for the past two months.

However, the singer and the Bones singer were recently spotted attending a pre-Grammy party earlier this month, and were seen catching up with other stars like Diplo.
While it’s still unclear what exactly led to the split, the tabloid says neither party was unfaithful to each other.
News of the split comes just a day after Avril was spotted dining with Tyga and several friends at Nobu in Malibu, where she was seen sharing a hug with the rapper before setting off together in the same car, according to TMZ.
Insiders told the site that the two have been good friends for some time, but are nothing more.

Talking with PeopleSources reiterated that Avril and Mod had been on and off for some time and that she is strictly friends with Tyga.
“Avril and Mod Sun have been on and off for the past two months, but they are no longer together as a couple,” the source said.
A source also told the outlet about her friendship with Tyga: ‘Avril and Tyga are genuinely friends and nothing more. There was absolutely no third party involved in the split.

The two stars were first linked romantically in December 2020, when Mod Sun proposed to Lavigne in Paris on March 27 of last year.

‘We had a violinist, champagne and roses. He felt like time stood still, and it was just the two of us at the time,” she gushed more.
