Imagine your wedding being crashed by The Hulk! Avengers star Mark Ruffalo stuns British couple by participating in their wedding in New York
Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo stunned a Welsh couple by ‘gatecrashing’ their wedding in New York.
Klaire Hodgson and Lynz Tanner, 28, chatted with the Hulk star just before their wedding ceremony in Central Park.
The couple, from Gwynedd, had decided to get married spontaneously in America after Klaire flew to a conference in San Francisco and then to an event in New York where Lynz is a bar manager.
Suddenly, Mark Ruffalo, who named Dr. Bruce Banner starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise film The Avengers, along and said hello.
The couple said it was a “special” moment on what was already the happiest day of their lives.

Klaire, a creative director for Animated Technologies, told NorthWalesLive, “Lynz proposed to me last June and we went through about a million different wedding ideas.
“I said, ‘Why don’t we get married in New York?’ This was a week before I was due to leave for America. I told my parents and some relatives.’
The couple then did some research and found a wedding officiant to meet for the ceremony.
Klaire said that before the ceremony started, Ruffalo “must have seen what was going on because he detoured to us.”
“Everyone was on the phone and suddenly this man slowly starts walking towards him. He stopped and he says hello to us and we say, “Okay, are you okay?”
“I think he was waiting for us to recognize him. I noticed he had a really nice camera and I thought oh he must be doing photography. But I thought I cannot know this man. I’m in New York, I don’t know anyone in New York.
And she turned just as he was walking away and said Oh my God! Mark Ruffalo!
And then he turned around and said “Hey!” He then came back. He was absolutely delicious. He was so nice.’

The star then posed for a photo, but Klaire said, “I had no idea what to do with my arms. Later he shook my hand about three times and said aw I’m so happy for you. He was so super nice. He was just an ordinary boy.’
Looking back, Klaire said, “It was great that we got married in Central Park. It was so magical and the whole day was beautiful and when Mark Ruffalo showed up and had our picture taken with us it made it extra special.”
Two days before they got married, Klaire got a Batman tattoo on her leg.
On their wedding suits, they also had Star Trek “communication” badges, like in the famous movies where the characters can press them and seemingly talk to other people on the starship Enterprise.
The couple has decided not to go on their honeymoon. They were in New York for some time before their marriage and that was their honeymoon, they say.
