Netflix fans go wild as remake of iconic series rated 100% on Rotten Tomato finally drops

Netflix fans went crazy on Thursday when the remake of an iconic animated series that received a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes was finally released.

All eight episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender have been released on the streaming platform – six years after the show was first announced.

Avatar follows a young monk named Aang, the last surviving ‘Airbender’ and, unbeknownst to him, the eighth reincarnation of the Avatar, the human embodiment of light and peace.

Originally a Nickelodeon cartoon that ran from 2005 to 2008, this Netflix adaptation marks the second live-action remake of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The first was the 2010 feature The Last Airbender.
