Australia’s second-largest ever Lotto has been drawn and three lucky players will split the $90million jackpot

Three entries shared the first prize in the massive $90 million Oz Lotto Boxing Day draw, the second-largest prize in gaming history.

More details about the winning entries are expected to be announced later.

Lott spokesman Matt Hart said millions of Aussies were expected to get involved in the draw with the life-changing amount of money at stake.

“Up to a third of Australian adults are expected to have a ticket in hand before the draw closes tonight,” he said.

“It seems many are dreaming of a festive season they will never forget and all the possibilities that a prize of this magnitude could create in 2024 and beyond.”

One lucky Australian could start the new year with $90 million.

Newsagents are expecting an influx of potential winners on Boxing Day ahead of the Oz Lotto jackpot.

Tonight's Oz Lotto draw is the second biggest offering in 30 years. One in three Australian adults already have a ticket.

The odds of winning the top prize are one in 62 million.

This year there have been 13 First Division winners who have taken home $233 million in prize money.

Three of these wins have come in each of Victoria and NSW, one in South Australia and two each in Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland.
