Australia’s ‘king and queen of porn’ have revealed the most common sex mistakes that are made by Aussies – including attaching too much shame to sex.
Prison guard-turned-porn star Isabelle Deltore, 40, spoke to News.com.au about her 13 years in the adult entertainment industry, and revealed that a lack of communication between sexual partners is the biggest issue most couples face.
Isabelle often works with former prisoner Dale Egan, 31, after the pair were in a scene together and hit it off due to their shared bond and understanding of life behind bars.

Dale, from the Gold Coast, revealed that people often ‘don’t ask what the other person likes’, which can lead to downfalls in the bedroom.
Isabelle, from Melbourne, added: ‘I’ve seen how people harbour a sense of shame attached to sex.
‘Things like having sex with the lights off, not communicating what they like or don’t like, and being embarrassed to try new things.

While Dale left school at 14, Isabelle studied for a double degree in social work and human services because she ‘wanted to change the world’.
After university, she went to the Department of Justice and worked in prisons.
‘I was always very conservative. I’d wear no makeup, button up my shirt and everything was loose,’ she said.
‘Yet I was still spoken to with disrespect and judged very harshly just because of the way I looked.’

Dale got his start in the adult industry working as a topless waiter after making some ‘poor decisions’ which saw him jailed for four and a half years
She started working one night a week in a strip club, where she made two weeks’ salary in one night and quickly ditched her day job.
‘I feel much safer and more empowered in this industry. I’m listened to and respected,’ she said.
Despite saying she has the ‘most privileged job in the world’, she also struggles with people’s ‘misconception’ about her work.
