Australia’s biggest horror film since Wolf Creek: Talk To Me delivers chilling and ‘insane levels of horror’ that will leave viewers petrified

Horror aficionados are gearing up for Australia’s latest horror film, Talk To Me, with many calling it the ‘first big horror film of 2023’.

The A24 film follows Adelaide teenagers Mia (Sophie Wilde), her best friend Jade (Alexandra Jensen) and her younger brother Riley (Joe Bird), who attend a party where dead spirits are summoned and have their bodies possessed by a severed, embalmed hand.

The children use the phrase “Talk to me” before saying “I’ll let you in” to be completely possessed by the ghost.

After becoming addicted to the thrill, things take a turn for the worse when Mia sees her dead mother after being possessed by a ghost for longer than the maximum time of 90 seconds.

Viewers of the trailer on Reddit were stunned by the trailer’s depiction of supernatural horrors.

“It’s been a minute since I got excited about a horror movie,” said one fan on Reddit.

“It’s honestly one of the most insane levels of horror I’ve seen since Hereditary,” added another.

It’s not a gimmick, it’s not an art house. It’s straight horror cinema – it’s creepy, scary, unpredictable and fresh!!’ said one viewer.
