A healthy woman who fell in love with a paralyzed man has clapped back at haters who have insinuated she is a gold digger just looking to get a green card.
Rocky, from Michigan, became paralyzed after breaking his neck while wrestling one of his friends at the age of 19.
Although the incident changed his life forever, it also helped him meet the love of his life, Jacquelyn, who was living in Australia at the time.
After dating long distance, Jacquelyn decided to move to the US to be with Rocky, but their love affair sparked hatred from trolls who wondered if their romance was the real deal.

Now, talking to Reallythe lovebirds have detailed their journey to find each other, while also criticizing trolls who criticize their relationship.
Despite living across the world from each other, the couple fell in love online while playing video games.
Rocky explained, “I’m paralyzed from the neck down. I was wrestling with a guy at a party and he dropped me on my head and I broke my neck.
‘Before that I had two, almost three jobs, I had a lot of friends and I was captain of a hockey team.
‘After I broke my neck, that was all gone, so over the years I had to find new things to do, new hobbies, a new career and new friends.
‘We first met online through Twitch, someone from our community gave us subs to each other. Me and my friends were in a Discord conversation together and they started saying like you should ask her if she wanted to play Fortnite and they challenged me so I did and she said yes and then the rest is history.”
When they first started talking, Jacquelyn was living in Australia. Shortly after they started playing video games together, she would often leave for Michigan to visit him.
However, when COVID hit in 2020, the couple went without seeing each other for two years.
Now, speaking to Truly, the lovebirds have detailed their journey to find each other, while also criticizing trolls who criticize their relationship.
And although they are madly in love, the couple’s relationship is not exactly smooth sailing
After spending two years on different sides of the world, Jacquelyn decided to pack her bags and move to Michigan to be with Rocky.
When she moved out, Rocky’s parents were somewhat “insecure” about his relationship.
But once they met Jacquelyn, they welcomed her with open arms.
They explained: ‘It has definitely changed since they have been here, they can see that you know the genuine love and care for each other from both sides, which is very important.’
And although they are madly in love, the couple’s relationship is not exactly smooth sailing.
They revealed that they have experienced a lot of hate from strangers.
Jacquelyn read out the hate comments they received in one of their latest messages.
She said: ‘If you go further down there are all the not so nice comments, so, ‘She wants easy money and other things.’ Oh Look at this: ‘She fucks other guys.'”
The couple said they wanted to ‘prove’ the haters were ‘wrong’ and begged people to ‘mind their own p’s and q’s’
Jacquelyn also said that people often asked the couple how they have sex.
Rocky added: Some people think she’s clearly here for the money or the green card.’
“What people don’t realize is that when I come here, I’m far from home, far away from my family and very close to my family,” Jacquelyn said before noting she wouldn’t. leaving her loved ones behind unless she really cared about Rocky.
The couple said they wanted to “prove” the haters were “wrong” and implored people to “mind their own p’s and q’s.”
