Australian reality star EXPOSED for ‘pretending to be gay’: TV personality had a fake relationship with a male 30 years younger than him for $5,000

Married At First Sight’s Nasser Sultan pretended to be in a gay relationship with a man 30 years his junior after appearing on the dating show in 2018.

Radio producer Joshua Fox, who has previously worked with several Australian reality stars on their media strategies and social content, made the revelation in his new book ‘What You Into?’ while documenting his media career.

He explained how the former reality star staged paparazzi photos during a date with 21-year-old fashion student Eyob Geist, while making $5,000 from the speculation.

In an excerpt shared with Daily Mail Australia, Joshua revealed that he first met Nasser in 2018 and they devised publicity stunts to keep him in the press.

“Married at First Sight has been described by Channel Nine as a social experiment and Nasser quickly became my own social experiment,” he wrote.

“He told me he wanted to do whatever he could to stay relevant, and I explained that since he was an unpopular 51-year-old man, we had to get creative.”

Joshua then explained how Nasser came up with the idea of speculating about his sexuality, and made $5,000 from a series of photos of him on a date with a 21-year-old man.

“The story, which seemingly confirmed what fans of the show already suspected about Nasser, went so viral that we quickly arranged for a second set of photos to sell for $3,000,” he wrote.

Nasser told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday that the “fake” images helped launch his media career.

‘I had quit the show and the media wondered if I was gay or not because I was the only one who wasn’t sleeping with my wife at the time. So Josh came up with this idea and approached me,” he explained.

‘I told him I wanted money for this because I wasn’t doing it for free. So they paid me the money and put me on the cover of the magazine.”

Nasser continued, “We had a random person and pretended he and I were dating and took the pictures. Within an hour and a half it had a million hits.”

‘That ensured that my name became known and that there was interest from the media.’

He explained how the former reality star staged paparazzi shots during a date with 21-year-old fashion student Eyob Geist (pictured) while making thousands of dollars from the speculation.

At the time, the former Australian magazine NW published images of Nasser enjoying a ‘drunk’ lunch with Eyob, who was 30 years his junior.

“They certainly seemed more than friends… Nasser couldn’t keep his hands off him!” a source reportedly told the magazine at the time.

“They tried to keep a low profile, but after a few drinks they didn’t seem to care who noticed them.”

The insider continued, “At one point, Nasser held the man’s hand and appeared to kiss him on the cheek while whispering in his ear.”

After questions were raised about Nasser’s sexuality following his appearance on MAFS, he told The Kyle & Jackie O Show, “I’m 110 percent not gay.”

He added: “I live in the gay community, believe me… If I was gay I would be a rock star! If I were gay, this is how I would live a lifestyle…I’m 100 million percent straight.’
