Australian tourist strips naked in a completely transparent dress during her vacation in Paris

An Australian tourist has divided opinion with her daring choice of outfit for a night on the town in Paris.

Sophia Begg, 19, who goes by ‘Sopha Dopha’ on TikTok, stunned on Tuesday when she shared photos of herself posing braless in a completely see-through dress.

The influencer completed her look with a skimpy white thong, and posed from various angles to show off her barely covered physique in a hotel mirror.

The floor-length gown, by Jacquemus and priced at $1,815, would do little to shield Sophie from the Parisian winter, where temperatures have dipped below zero in recent days.

“Feeling like a princess,” she wrote in the caption of the photo.

Australian TikTok star Sophia Begg, 19, stunned on Tuesday when she shared photos of herself posing braless in a completely sheer dress before a night out in Paris.

Sophia’s appearance sparked debate among her fans, with several questioning whether it was appropriate to show so much skin on the streets of Paris.

‘Why even dress?’ one person commented.

Another fan asked if the dress was actually a swimsuit, prompting someone else to reply, “It has to be, she’s literally naked.”

Sophia’s look sparked a debate among her fans, with several questioning whether it was appropriate to show so much skin on the streets of Paris.

However, others were quick to defend Sophie’s raunchy look, with one commenting, “Best thing you’ve ever worn,” while another added, “A true goddess!”

It comes after Sophia was hit by the open podcast for promoting extreme tanning, having recently preached on sun safety.

In December, Sophia posted an Instagram Story of herself sunbathing, writing: “I’ve been in the sun, no kidding, every day for two to three hours with suntan oil.”

‘Why am I not a bronze goddess?’

Describing Sophia as a “barometer for Generation Z,” podcast host Sophie Taeuber said she was surprised the influencer claims she “uses sun cream as a foundation” every day.

“The fact that she promotes tanning really looked like a deserted field, and in the photo it’s also quite worrying because her cheeks are a very bright red,” Ms Taeuber said.

In an Instagram post last month, Sophia claimed she had been lying on the beach in suntan oil for days on a quest to become a ‘brass goddess’.

It comes after Sophia was criticized by the Outspoken podcast for promoting extreme tanning, after recently preaching on sun safety.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Professor Tanya Buchanan, chief executive of Cancer Council Australia, warned of the dangers of extreme tanning.

“A tan is a sign of skin damage,” said Professor Buchanan.

“When the skin is exposed to ultraviolet radiation, more melanin is produced, which causes the skin to darken. This is what we know as a “tan”. There is no such thing as a safe tan.

“Sun damage accumulates over time, so even if you’re looking to tan but not burn, you’re still increasing your risk of skin cancer.”
