Australian Survivor’s Sarah Marschke addresses claims she pushed a rival beauty queen off a bus during the Miss World competition: ‘She saw me as a threat’

Beauty queen Sarah Marschke has confessed to rumors that she pushed a rival contestant off a bus at the Miss World 2019 competition.

The 23-year-old, who recently starred in Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains, appeared on the TV recharge podcast this week to deny the allegations.

She had been accused of pushing Miss Greece Rafaela Plastira off a bus in 2019, causing Rafaela to sprain her leg.

speaking to TV rechargeSarah said that she and Rafaela had been friends, but they fell out when she was awarded the position of team leader over the Greek beauty.

‘I guess she saw that as a threat,’ the blonde explained.

Sarah then said that she and Rafaela were not even on the same bus when the alleged incident occurred and that a security guard had told her that Rafaela had tripped getting off the bus, causing her injury.

“It’s weird because there were 111 countries and she chose Miss Australia,” Sarah continued.

Sarah insisted that the incident never happened.

“I wasn’t even there,” he said. ‘But that’s the way it is in beauty pageants.

Rafaela first publicized the allegations about Sarah in 2019 in an interview with the Greek outlet Espresso.

“We were coming back from an event and when I was getting off the bus, Miss Australia was behind me and she pushed me hard. I fell and sprained my ankle. I was in a wheelchair for two days and I couldn’t walk,’ said Rafaela.

‘I’m still wearing gauze on my foot. The girl who assaulted me says that it was a mistake and that it was an accident, but she pushed me on purpose. From the beginning Miss Australia was very rude and hostile to me.

Sarah’s controversial past landed her spot in the final season of Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains as a member of the villainous tribe.

She was eliminated from the series earlier this week, becoming the fifth contestant to be eliminated.

“I was friends with everyone,” she told 10Play.

“But I guess at the end of the day that backfired on me, because I didn’t really take the time to build those alliances and that trust.”
