Australian Survivor star Shonee Bowtell breaks down when she is voted off the show in a surprise twist during tribal council
Shonee Bowtell was voted out at Tribal Council in a surprising twist during Sunday’s episode of Australian Survivor.
The other contestants sent the 30-year-old packing after host Jonathan LaPaglia revealed that the final players, Liz, George, Matt and Gerry, would vote for someone outside of the jury.
“I know, it’s a lot to process,” he told the stunned contestants.
Jonathan then informed the jury that one of them would be expelled and would have to leave immediately.
After deliberating, Liz voted for Simon, while George, Matt, and Gerry voted for Shonee’s elimination.

The surprise twist has meant that all four contestants will plead their case to win the $500,000 prize during Monday’s finale.
After her elimination, Shonee said 10playshe had a ‘bad feeling’ at the tribal council.
“At Tribal Council, I remember telling Liz that I have a bad feeling. Even when I voted, I think I said something like I really don’t like these three-three votes.’
He said he ignored his intuition because he thought he was just emotional due to lack of food and exhaustion.

“I basically turned on myself thinking my intuition was wrong,” Shonee continued.
“I was so right, but I thought, you’re being so emotional…just don’t worry about it, you’re just crazy, it’s all good.” It was not all good.
Shonee became the first player to compete in three Australian Survivor seasons and holds the record for longest days.
“I know, it’s a lot to process,” he told the stunned contestants. Jonathan then informed the jury that one of them would be expelled and would have to leave immediately.
