Survivor Australia’s ‘King’ George Mladenov surprised fans on Monday when he announced he is undergoing a second hair transplant.

The 30-year-old reality star shared his hair restoration journey in a video on his Instagram page.

In the clip, he explained that he received 13,000 hair transplants in his head during two surgeries.

Hair grafts are extracted in follicular units consisting of 1-4 hairs using a follicular unit extraction (FUE) method.

A hair transplant in Australia can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 depending on the degree of hair loss and the type of procedure you are having.

George went on to describe the positive impact the first transplant had and how it helped him prepare TV for Survivor.

“It went really well the first time. I know it will look even better this time and I can’t wait to see it,” he explained.

George explained why he decided to have a second procedure at Gro Clinics in Brisbane, saying: ‘The answer is because I can move more hairs because I have enough at the back of my hair to move them and let the rest of my hair to move. hairline fuller.’
