A strange hotel shower faucet has left a British-Australian singer completely dumbfounded, telling his followers that this was the “f***est” hotel bathroom feature he’d ever seen.
Ruel, 19, shot the video in an Italian hotel during Milan’s Fashion Week and uploaded it to TikTok after finally solving the puzzle.
In the clip, the famous singer, whose real name is Ruel Vincent van Dijk, said he had found the most bizarre feature in every bathroom he’d been in on his travels.

“I’ve spent quite a bit of time in hotels over the past few years and every time I have to invent the shower in every hotel it’s a little conundrum, because they all work very differently,” he said.
“I think I’ve come across the most f***ed.”
Ruel showed viewers the inside of his shower tub, where he turned on an overhanging faucet that turned on the tub.
He then pulled a small switch under the tub faucet and turned the main faucet back on, but claimed the small switch actually activated the plug.
“I was almost about to go to the front desk and ask like a kid how to operate the shower or if it was broken,” he continued.
“I don’t know how I could have come up with this.”
Ruel then pulled on a hidden steel cap located on the end of the tub faucet that turned on the shower.
He described overseas hotel showers as a “f***ing rubix cube.”
In the TikTok clip, which has more than 235,000 views, Ruel showed his followers how a secret steel cap was the only way to activate the shower in his hotel bathroom.
Ruel is best known for his hit single Dazed and Confused, which has more than 209 million streams. Sir Elton John previously praised the young singer’s talent

Ruel has been touring the world lately with performances in England, the US and Germany. In August he released his latest single You Against Yourself.
He is best known for his hit Dazed and Confused, which has more than 209 million streams on Spotify.
