Australian mums have discovered a budget supermarket where they can buy school lunchbox snacks for a fraction of the price and dramatically reduce their grocery bills.
While there aren’t many stores in all of Australia, Costco does sell bulk food and snacks for much less than major supermarkets.
One mom wowed hundreds after sharing the savings available, including huge multi-packs of Jumpy’s Crisps, Tiny Teddies and Vege Crisps, all for less than $20.
Hundreds were impressed with the money-saving find and were eager to get their hands on the snacks, but some pointed out a major catch.
Customers require a membership with an annual fee to shop at Costco stores or online, but many said buying in bulk from the US retailer can save hundreds.

“Sneak peek at Costco snack savings,” the Queensland mom wrote in a post for the Moms on a Budget – Australia Facebook page.
He showed photos of the store with a 40-pack of Jump’s chips on sale for $13.99 while Woolworths sells the snacks in a five-pack for $4.15.
There was also a 42-variety pack of Tiny Teddies for just $12.49, which works out to $1.19 per 100g instead of the $4.50 per 100g charged by major supermarkets.
Other deals included a 32-pack box of Vege chips for $19.99, as well as Sunkist Fruit Snacks for $18.99 and 30-packs of Healtheries Rice Wheels and Potato Sticks for $14.99.
Hundreds of shoppers in the comments were wowed by the deals.
“That’s it, I’m going to sign up Saturday for school lunches and gas since it’s like $1.66 a liter,” said one mother.

‘The meat packs are amazing too!’ another wrote, while a third responded: “Pretzels and sesame snacks are regular purchases for me.”
The cartel added that he stocks up at Costco every eight weeks as it “takes up a large chunk” of his shopping bill.
However, some pointed out that the stock at Costco is varied and can be unpredictable, while others said that only those who buy an annual membership can shop there.
Except you can’t always trust getting these products. Good when you can though! “We went to Perth today and none of the images were available, for example,” said one woman.
‘Yes, but you have to factor in the cost to get in the door,’ a second explained.
Costco memberships are $60 per year for regular shoppers and $55 per year for businesses.
There are 14 stores across Australia, including Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide, while limited stocks are available to order online for members.
