Former Australian Defence Minister Kevin Andrews dies aged 69

Former Australian Defense Minister Kevin Andrews has died at the age of 69.

The former politician and member of Australia’s Liberal Party died ‘peacefully’ on Friday night with his wife Margie by his side.

His family announced this in a statement that former Prime Minister Tony Abbott shared on social media. Mr Andrews battled cancer for the past year.
