Australian Ninja Warrior’s Olivia Vivian and Ben Polson announce a shock split after five years together
Australian Ninja Warrior couple Olivia Vivian and Ben Polson have announced that they have split after five years together.
Speak against New idea on Monday, Olivia, 33, said her divorce from Ben was “heartbreaking.”
“Our relationship was loving, respectful and fun, but in that last year we started wanting different things and we broke up,” the former Olympic gymnast told the publication.
‘It wasn’t messy. Things just turned out romantic and we became companions instead of lovers,” she insisted.
Although their split was amicable and both parties moved out of the house they rented together, it was a decision that didn’t come easily.

“She doesn’t care what anyone else thinks and I was really drawn to that… and here we are.”
Meanwhile, Olivia has told The Western Australian that their first meeting at the Ninja academy, which should have lasted only 60 minutes, turned into a seven-hour chat.
“Two other members didn’t show up, and this one-hour meeting lasted seven hours. We didn’t do any work, it was just that connection,” she recalled.
Ben said of their romantic first date on Cottesloe Beach in Perth: “We ate fish and chips, watched the sunset, went swimming and maybe even watched The Bachelorette.”
